Received my new CPAP machine 4 weeks ago and still struggling getting to sleep. I am using nasal pillows which they say is best for side sleepers and my pressure is set at 10 down from original setting of 15. I try to use it at night but still can't get to sleep. Have been prescribed Lunesta to help til I am used to the machine but still can't sleep with it on. The nasal pillows don't hurt but I always feel claustraphobic or like I'm being smothered. I get frustrated, shut it off and take off the mask just after a short time to get some sleep. Have not slept over 3-4 hours since I've had it and REALLY struggling right now. Is this normal? Does anyone have any suggestions or gone through the same thing? What did you do to overcome it?

Any suggestions will be appreciated!!

Thanks!
