Sometimes finding the right mask is the key to cpap happiness. There isn't a single mask that will be right for everyone. We have faces with different shapes, different size heads, and varying degrees of openness in our nostrils, etc.

With the right mask for your face, you shouldn't need for the straps to be pulled really tight. Full face masks have more area to cover so they are more difficult to fit properly and will sometimes need more tightness to stay on.

If you are using a full face mask due to nasal obstruction you may want to consider having it corrected. Then you will have the option of using a smaller, easier to fit mask with a chin strap if needed.

Just some ideas to throw around.

Best wishes,
Sandman
