Thanks for comments, I have had insomnia most of my adult life and never recall sleeping soundly. I eat properly, no red meat, no junk food and never eat or drink anything after 9 p.m. except water. I am not overweight and I walk three times a week and do Yoga - nothing works. It is my sleep specialist who put me on the drugs I keep trying to cut them down but that results in no sleep at all. I guess there are no miracles out there, I have been described as "complicated" by all Dr's and specialists. I believe a good deal of the problems are hereditary, that's not a cop out believe me, I try to stay positive most of the time but some days I just feel that I can't get through the day. My motto is "never ever quit", I guess the worst thing is not having a support group as I live alone. I live in a small community but I might try to start one when I get the energy.
