You don't have to snore or gasp to have a sleep related breathing disorder. Waking unrefreshed after 8-9 hours of sleep, load snoring with lots of movements during the night, all point to OSA being high on the list of possibilities.

You may have let your doc that if you have an accident due to a sleep disorder, after you have asked to be seen by a sleep specialist for non-restorative sleep, she will be taking the responsibility.

You can also take the sleep test on this site and print out the results to show your doctor. Not perfect but may help.

Many lawyers are looking for that perfect case that will set a standard for sleep disorder care in the medical system.

Don't give up, change doctors if you have to.
