A few of us who have apnea so severe that it was necessary for us to have a trach.

We have been posting here for many years (not recently due to my poor health due to heart, lung and kidney failure), this is because of the central apnea, not because of the trach.

If you do a search on this entire site you will find several years of posts which will describe all about it.

Search for: Trach tube; Phil; Caroline; and "The hole in the throat gang"
