mouth breathing - NEW phenom

Help! I've been using my CPAP for about 5 years now with no trouble (in fact, like most CPAP users, I wouldn't give it up for anything!).

However, I've lost a lot of weight over the past 5 months (60 lbs) and over the past month or two, I've suddenly begun "mouth breathing" - I awaken throughout the night with air rushing out of my mouth.

Sadly, I'm also reverting to my pre-CPAP symptoms: sleepiness throughout the day, headaches, etc.

Could the pressure now be "wrong" for me now that I've lost so much weight? Could this be why I'm suddenly mouth breathing? I've never had this problem before.

I tried a chin strap, but that's not helping - my lips still open :)
I've also tried training myself to block the front of my mouth with my tongue - so far, no luck.

Any ideas?
Thanks!
