dry and puffy eyes

I have been using a CPAP machine for almost a year. I have had many problems mostly concerning the mask. I have tried others but so much velcro and not user friendly. I resorted to the original Resmed Swift Mirage Nose Prong mask. It is far from perfect but nose and full face masks hurt my nose which has damage from being broken so many times. I am a female who has always prided myself in the fact that I have never had bags under my eyes in spite of my insomnia. During the last 6 mos of usage I am developing very puffy eyes which don't go away during the day. Also my right eye especially always feels dry and I use Gel drops which help a bit, if I don't my right eye won't open during the night. I am assuming the exhaust is causing this however many times I adjust it through the night. It either blows in my eyes or fans the rest of my body which again keeps me awaks. I never experience a night without at least waking up 5 - 20 times. I still manage to function but there has to be a better way. I have multiple sleep disorders so I have to take meds for the others and rarely feel rested. Anyone got any ideas please. Thanks.
