There's no guarantee. My concern is that CPAP is working for you now. It may be best to leave well enough alone. If you have surgery, you may find new issues with your mouth being opened or being otherwise no longer able to tolerate CPAP.

This may be better posted on the NON-CPAP forum, although you have used CPAP for a long time (same year I started).
