I certainly would recommend that you get a sleep test to confirm that you really don't need CPAP anymore. If that's the case, congratulations, don't keep the machine handy. If you should need it again in the future, many health plans will not provide a replacement except if you can prove that your existing one is broken and is not practical to repair. If you just "disposed" of it, they may not want to cover you.
