I was diagnosed with rosacea several years before discovering I had sleep apnea and began wearing the nasal mask. The mask never seemed to trigger the rosacea; however, a weekend in the sun and heat (both of which are prime triggers) at the beach in California triggered an outbreak that I'm still battling. And, ashamed to say, I'm not real fanatic about cleaning the mask, just use mild soap and water.
