In the U.S., most CPAP patients own their machine, especially long-term patients. There is nobody to "return" it to. Of course, you could donate it to charity and take a deduction. I still have the one I replaced three years ago as I really do need to have a spare on hand. The core is frayed, there is a leak (that I figured out how to plug), and it is very noisy (old design). However, in a pinch, it works!
