I believe that they do work. I think there are a variety of choices, but basically when it comes to these things, "you get what you pay for". Big difference between the store-bought ones and and ones that a dentist who specializes in sleep apnea will make you. I believe that some are made with springs, so you can move your teeth a bit etc.

Question is whether or not it would mess up your bite. I had one and it messed up my bite a little. I didn't have the kind with a spring though. I wonder if that would have made a difference.

Antoher thing, if you wish, you can probably use them along with CPAP. Both together.
