I would believe the Sleepstrip, not sure what it is, with oximetry before I would believe a oximetry study alone.
Oximetry can rule OSA in be it can never rule it out so in some since it is worthless. If you have symptoms of OSA you will need a sleep study no matter what an oximeter says. Not everyone desaturates with sleep related breathing disorders. With UARS, one of the requirements is no drop in oximetry.
Bottom line, ask for the sleep study. It isn't just normal to be excessively sleepy at any age.
