The distilled water is good. Tap water is not good, nor is spring water. It leaves a scaly residue. The best thing is Distilled water, it is easy on your nasal passages. I recommend that you buy a large five or ten gallon bottle of distilled water. You can get a pump called a Dolphin Pump (google that if you don't know what it is)and then fill it up. You just keep that big bottle in your closet, and Bob's your uncle! It is very convenient because you don't need to keep running to the drug store to buy smaller sized bottles.
