Air into stomach

Hey there,
I'm new to this forum and learning a lot.
last yr there was a posting about bloating but it was brief.
I recently got a BiPAP machine. Setting is 21. (ya, i can inflate my truck tires with it.)
Anyways,
I wore it for a few nights successfully, however now i am waking up to an extremely upset and bloated stomach. I took off the mask and burped for about a minute getting the air out of my stomach. Also getting gas something terrible.
Is the air just traveling through me instead of into lungs?
Has anyone else had this? what did you do?
Is anyone else at this setting? Recommendations?
