I don't have an Encore reader so didn't feel I could respond to this. However, something of the same thing happens with my ResMed autopap. Sometimes it shows two sessions with the same date and will appear to miss a date, sometimes data is missing. I'm sure it has to do with the timing of when I'm up for an hour or so in the middle of the night and when the machine is set to change dates internally, but I know of no way to fix it. Theoretically, it shouldn't make a difference where your hours of sleep fall in the 24-hour cycle, but maybe there's some quirk in there.

The only thing I can think about the brief blips and bobbles in your readings is that they occur when you are moving in your sleep ? ? ? ?
