To answer your "portablity" question right off hand, I bought at my expense, the BreatheX
Journey portable, rechargable CPAP. THE BEST thing I've bought in YEARS! It is only 2
pounds. the downside is there is no humidifier and it can't change pressure. Just set at one.
But, it's been great to just pack that little thing in my carry-on and take with me. No extra
heavy CPAP bag to worry about going through the airport security and trying to find a place
for it on the plane. You charge it during the day, and use at night.

I am very used to the noise, and am not sure I could sleep without the white noise :-) One
other drawback is the exhaust blows right at my husband. I can't sleep in the same room
:-( Haven't found a solution to that :-(
