I have mixed apnea due to a rear end collision in 1963. Damaged brain stem.

Have been through many MD's and hospitals in every part of the country but the only thing which ended all my problems is a trach attached to a vent with added oxygen.

With this setup I now sleep through every night and do not wake til my dogs tell me they are looking for breakfast.

I had no help until I went to University Hospital and then everything went right. It was a hard road but worth it.
