I have mixed apnea with primary central due to a damaged brain stem.

The use of a timed bi-pap with added oxygen has had me sleeping through the night for many years.

My health was very bad so I needed a temporary trach to begin recovery. Later it was determined that I must keep the trach which has been a blessing for me.

been trached for 16 years and have a new sleep study whenever it is called for by the insurance company.

I am doing very well now in the apnea department but do have other physical problems which have been getting worse through the years.
