Hi. I can't fall asleep with that mask on my face, so I decided to try the didge route. It seems to massage the back of my throat and it feels and sounds great. I love the eerie drone and the way it relaxes me. It's not a cure, I still have episodes. But to be honest they are much fewer than before, to the point where I dreaded sleeping. I'm also on an anti depressant and anti anxiety med. It's pretty hard to get the air up to play the didge, but when you get the hang of it it's nice. I have no musical talent whatsoever, either, so it's all windpower.

I've never heard of an eflat alto horn. I'll look into it and if I can afford it I'll get one. If that would work better I'd use that along with the didge. My didge is just made of pvc with a rubber mouthpiece, but it still sounds and feels great. I try to shoot for an hour a day practice. Even my fiance likes the way it sounds! It's not a cure, I realize that. I've lost 75 lbs and I found I still had apnea. My heart sank. But weight loss certainly can not hurt and weight gain avoided at all costs. I'd like to lose more weight anyway to be a size 8 lol! I was told I had moderate to mild apnea and this is a help. Do you find your instrument gives you some relief from osa?
