Does sleeping in a recliner help?

Hi all,

I was dignosed with OSA in October of last year. Was happy to get a CPAP and couldn't wait to get a good night's sleep! Well 9 months later and I'm still waiting. Can't get use to a mask, have tried about 8-9 different masks (noses pillows, nose cup, currently full face). I sleep on my side/stomach and hug my pillow. Currently I am trying sleeping in a recliner, with my CPAP on, has anyone had luck with sleeping in a chair helping?

Also, I have been told my issue is my tongue - do any of the surgeries help this problem?
