When I remember falling asleep during business meetings and drooling on my newspaper at lunchtime, sure, I'm happy with CPAP. Sometimes I forget the mask is on and I feel my face to check.

I've heard that some people adjust immediately and have a great night of sleep during the titration study. That wasn't me. It took me time to adjust, but I did. I agree that it's good to try some practice runs with CPAP while awake; e.g., read a book or watch TV so that your mind is otherwise occupied. That will teach you that you don't have to think about how to breathe, and make it easier to ignore the CPAP when you're in bed.
