I don't discount the effect of a decade of untreated apnea as a possible contributing cause of my prostate cancer. Nothing I can prove, but it's as likely a scenario as any other. I've been on CPAP therapy for 8 years, but had untreated apnea for a decade prior to that. In August 2010 I had a radical prostatectomy after a diagnosis of Gleason 7 prostate cancer.

I started a thread on a prostate cancer forum about this possible link between sleep disorders and prostate cancer, but most of the guys there seem to view this as just another "everything on earth causes cancer" message.
