My car was rear ended in 1963. I have a damaged brain stem and central apnea. I have used a vent with much success and now use a timed bi pap, it does the same thing for me but it is much less expensive than the vent.

Sleep comes very easy to me now and there is no trouble as long as I can use the bi pap whenever I sleep. Just do everything the docs ask of you and be serious about it and you will be fine.

We are all different and handle these problems in our own way.. I wish you well.
