Waking up sweating could be a sign of apnea, but it also could be a sign of anxiety. My understanding is that anti-depressants won't help unless you have depression; they correct a chemical imbalance, but they aren't "happy pills" that work for everyone. I'd be inclined to try them and see if they make a difference. They'll either help you directly or help you to rule out one of the possibilities and thus move you closer to a true diagnosis.

In the old days, people used to allow a year or more for grieving. Now everyone expects to be back to normal right away. Unfortunately, that's not how we're built.
