You do not need to snore, be overweight, or have chronic headaches to have SA. You don't have to be male or be an adult either, by the way. This applies both to the Obstructive and Central varieties. In fact, the (much rarer) Central variety is characterized by silence.

Also, you might have a different sleep disorder, such as Narcolepsy.
