Thanks for the comments Captin Cannuck and SleepyTimeGal. (No allergies, but had some severe food intolerances. Those symptoms are under control).

I wanted to know what's going on, so with a recorder I soundtaped myself sleeping:
I am definately gasping for air every minute or so with a snoring or gasping sound. I moved sometimes when I gasped, not much moving otherwise so it's probably not Restless legs syndrome.
After a couple of hours it sounded quiet for an hour or two and then snoring/gasping started over again all night in cycles.

Now I just finished a sleep test(not PSG this time) where I received a small tube down my nose and throat. I got 2-3 hours of sleep with it, but it showed according to the doctor only 4 apneas... My first thought was this can't be right.
He said I did snore though and then was about to dismiss me.
I remained him of my symptoms: never feeling refreshed, extreme dryness in mouth every morning, gasping air etc.
Like Captin Cannuck advised I insisted on PSG, and I got the PSG-test in about 6 months from now.

I hope I don't fall between chairs regarding diagnosis here.
If the first test is right, it may seem like "only" snoring/gasping with lots of subjective symptoms which simulates many sleep apnea symptoms.
My breathing test shows mild/moderate airway obstruction.
Maybe it's some kind of "upper airway resistance syndrome"
(from p.175 "The Promise of Sleep").

Well, the PSG will tell, and hopefully followed by an operation that can open airways in nose and throat. The hospital use radio-frequency(RF) operation on snoring and apnea. It's supposed to be effective and almost painless.

For what it's worth, here are a sample of earlier blood tests regarding oxygen and CO2.
I know the elevated erytrocytes indicates low oxygen. CO2 seems elevated which can't be a good thing. Not too sure on what the others indicates. Obviously my oxygen-blood chemistry is unbalanced:

B-Erytrocytes 5,5* (4,0-5,4)
B-pCO2 6,8* (4,5-6,0)
B-BE 4* (-3-3)
B-Bicarbonate 28* (22-27)
B-pO2 19,0* (10,7-14,7)

Any comments on this mail are appreciated.
Thank you
