OK - I've made it through my first two nights with the CPAP machine, but I'm dreading the 3rd. I'm a lifelong mouth breather. I find it very difficult to breath through my nose, it is stressful for me. I just don't feel I get enough air quickly enough or can exhale enough air quickly enough.

With the nasal mask on, I try to relax and breath through my nose, but I find myself sneaking a mouth breath now and again.

Last night my mouth must have fallen open and I woke with a dry, dry mouth and a headache.

Is this dangerous?? Can I suffocate?
Any suggestions?

I have a full face mask, I will try that tonight.

Appreciate any insight to help ease my fears/concerns.

Thanks,
