Well, it sounds like the more you use it, the better you feel. Therefore, you goal is to use it all night. If you wake up, don't remove the mask, then you won't have to put it back on. Some masks have an easy disconnect and reconnect to the hose, so you can make quick potty visits with the mask still on.
