Connor, like most two-year-old boys, is pretty inquisitive about everything in the house, and I guess my CPAP machine is no exception. Over Labor Day weekend, we invited our son and his family to join us in our travel trailer in rural Indiana. Connor was one of the first to wake up in the morning and climbed into our bed. He peeked over the edge and said, "Oh, there's PawPaw's vacuum." He apparently thinks the CPAP machine, with its hose, is some sort of vacuum. I didn't have a machine when our own kids were small, but I found myself wondering how other people's little kids react to Mom or Dad or Grandpa or Grandma wearing a CPAP mask. Connor apparently thinks it's just fine. He calls it "PawPaw's Gakoom," which is his way of saving "vacuum."
