I got my first CPAP in 1999. I paid nothing for it (the insurance was better then). When I replaced it in 2005, I had to co-pay 10% of the preferred provider’s price or 30% of any other provider’s price. However, the preferred provider charged ~$1500 (and “decided” which machine I should have), and the mail order provider charged $~500 for the machine I chose. It would have cost less if I didn’t get a machine with an integrated humidifier.
