Even my wife, whose hearing seems to be about perfect, tells me that she doesn't hear the machine. I have it placed on the floor, halfway under the bed, and it's really not audible. It's a six-year-old Remstar Plus. Are some machine really noisy? If so, I dread the day I have to change machines. What DOES concern me are the numerous "boom cars" that travel up and down our street, rattling windows and jolting my innards much like an approaching thunderstorm. Those idiots should be banned from the roads. They're a demonstrable source of vibroacoustic disease.
