Hi,

I recently got back from a sleep study and was diagnosed with
obstructive sleep apnea. As you may have guessed from my screen name.
I have been struggling with insomnia for a long time. Having spent
considerable time in the insomnia forum someone recomended I go in for
a sleep study. Well I guess now I have OSA as well.

I was hoping to get a couple of questions answered. First off I dont
snore, dont have a weight problem etc. Does anyone else fit this
criteria and have benefited from a cpap device. Guess I just wonder
if I might be misdiagnosed though the center said it was definitive.

On rare ocassions just as I nod off to sleep I get the sense that I
cant breath. It will cause momentary panic, then I will calm down and
breath normal. I just assumed this was anxiety related...Has anyone
experienced this in relation to OSA?
