You may need to soak your tubing (submerged) in a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water (1/3 to 2/3 ratio) for several hours. Then flush with water for several minutes. Beyond that, there are levels of tubing quality out there - cheaper tubing is usually the smelliest. Call suppliers on the phone and ask where there tubing comes from.....China??? There is always some smell associated with new tubing, however. In the worst case, and this is not generally recommended, you , may need to introduce a friendly scent into the humidifier water to cover the hose smell.
