A doctor told me that the dental device may work for a small percentage of sleep apnea patients at first but at the end of the day it is quite unnatural and by changing the position of your lower jaw while you sleep, it usually results in TMJ and bulldog bite. (This doctor speaks to dental professionals to encourage them to refer their patients back to cpap when the dental device fails.) Just be careful.
