Sounds more like you may have insomnia which isn't a sleep disorder it is a complaint and finding the cause is the goal. Depression and/or anxiety can cause light sleep which isn't restorative sleep. This falls under insomnia and you should post your questions on the insomnia forum, you'll get many good replies there.
Provigil isn't treating the problem.
