I can relate totally! I am a natural mouth breather, I have been almost all of my life. I was DX'd with OSA about 8 years ago. Try as I might I was not able to keep using my CPAP. I had an odd problem, that no one had heard of back then. I use a full face mask, with a regular (not heated) humidifier, and I would drool so much I would wake up with a full mask and puddles on my pillow after about 4 hours.

I am once again trying to get back on a CPAP. This time with a heated humidifier, and once again a full face mask.

One thing to think about is if you are a mouth breather, the full face is the better way to go, once you get use to it. It took me about 2 months before I was fully used to mine, the first time around. Since I have been on Oxygen during sleep, via a nasal cannula for the last 5 months, I am hoping my transition to the CPAP this time will be easier.

Do keep us posted, as I will be letting folks know how I am doing this time around as well.

Good sleep to all,
Rhainy
