O2 Sats going below 90 is not good, but not a scary level. I think I mentioned that the real worry is if you fall below 80-85%. I was actually (without my CPAP) falling into the 70s after my surgery. The docs put me on O2 when I sleep for that reason.

I don't think that the CPAP is the cause for the lower levels. In fact without it I am sure you probably would have done what I did, and bottomed out much, Much lower. What usually causes the O2 Sats to be so low, is shallow breathing. That is my problem, when asleep, I breath very shallow.

I am not sure if you can purchase an O2 finger monitor without a prescription in the UK, or for that fact the US.
