You definately sound like someone who should try automatic PAP, aka APAP. Pressure range should be something like 7 to 11 cm to start out and see how you do. Using it in this way, your starting pressure will be lower and perhaps allow you not to wake in the first two hrs. Another benefit is data collection. You could get an answer to the question of having central apneas mixed in with obstructive events.
