Hello,

Do not forget the simple things...

I have lost weight over the five years I have been on CPAP. This changed my body shape.

As a youth I was always a belly sleeper, when I became obese and started my sleep apnea I could no longersleep on my stomach comfortably and began sleeping on my side.

Now that I have lost weight I am back to being a belly sleeper as well as a side sleeper. All this rolling arouund moves the mask and leaks began emerging after a few hours of sleep. I found the leaks would wake me up.

I solved it with a new mask and a CPAP pillow. The CPAP pillow is designed to stop the pillow from pushing on the mask creating leaks.

I had to buy a new mask because as I lost weight my cheek bones emerged from under the lost fat and a full face mask no longer worked for me.

Do not forget the simple things. If your body and sleeping habits change it may affect your CPAP mask fit, create leaks, waking you up.

Later,
Rolling Thunder
