The number one cause of osa is an abnormal airway, anywhere from the nose to the throat, partially due to heredity and also due to nasal obstruction in young children (causes the mandible to not grow and results in overbite and high arched palette.)
I don't see any relationship in the above with vit D.
All the conditions you mention are inner related. Hard to pull one out and say it is due to another outside influence.
Basically, having good nutrition including all vitamins will make you healthier but they will not overcome the effects of sleep apnea.
