Hi,

I've just started CPAP about 4 weeks ago, the first week was great although I was only sleeping about 5 hours a night due to work commitments.

Now I'm trying to get more sleep I'm running into some issues. My ankles and legs are swollen like crazy, and my lower back hurts whenever I'm asleep for more than 5 hours.

I assume my back is due to finally being still while I'm asleep, as pre-CPAP I was tossing and turning all night. So hopefully this will take care of itself over time.

The swelling however has me worried. Just before I started CPAP I had a full aviation medical including ECG and everything was fine although my BP was a tad high, which is fairly usual for me.

I've researched as much as I can but there are no definitive answers to be found... Has anyone experienced and conquered similar swelling issues?
