After I started using the CPAP machine 7 years ago, I initialy connected every new physical ailment with the machine. Was the CPAP causing the ringing in my ears? The headaches? Probably not, almost certainly not, but the tendency was to blame this new thing in my life. My suggestion is that you discuss the swelling with your physician. I also had this problem at one time after starting CPAP usage, but the actual cause was a sudden reaction to the blood pressure medication I had been using. Not unusual at all, according to my doctor. He put me on a different medication and all has been fine since. I'm just suggesting you avoid the easy tendency to blame things of the CPAP, when there may, in fact, be no connection at all. Good luck.
