For the problem with the full face mask leaks, try wearing an adjustable head band (one that stretches) around the mask. I discovered that remedy here on one of the forums a year or two ago. Although this technique stops the leaks, the head bands I find are usually too small to fit around the mask without it feeling too tight, plus I was never able to find an adjustable head band that stretches. So I bought a stretchable one, cut it and sewed long peices of Velcro on each end allowing me to stretch it and adjust it to a larger fit. In other words I had to be a little creative. This worked tremendously. But with me, at first I still had to adjust the head band a little too tight too stop the leaks, which caused face pain, until one day I finally replaced my head gear. This almost took care of the leaks by itself. I had no idea a new head gear would have made such a huge difference. I did a lot of damage to my old head gear by placing it in the washing machine...the dryer probably didn't help. With my new head gear I don't have to adjust my adjustable head band as tight, and I don't have a problem with leaks anymore. I try to keep the head band wrapped right above where the hose connects to the mask, hoping it won't slide up at night, which was a problem at first because of how the mask slants in and upward above the hose connection. Last night, I placed a piece of Velcro on my mask right above the spot where the hose connects to it. Then I placed the other piece of Velcro on the head band. This kept the head band from sliding up overnight. The only problem is I have severe hypersomnia with possible narcolepsy. However this should take care of the mask leak problem. So for anyone who has problems with a leaking full face mask and can't tolerate a nasal mask or nasal pillows...like myself, this could be a good solution.
