In the UK Apnea is spelled Apnoea. Perhaps that's why you're having trouble finding UK resources on the internet!

Your symptoms do suggest SA, so you should see your primary care physician and discuss it with him (or her). Alternatively, if the NHS permits it, make an appointment with a sleep specialty or a sleep lab directly.
