This is a very general question - is there any known connection between cpap therapy and Urinary Tract Infections? Has anybody else experienced this? I was diagnosed almost 4 years ago with OSA and started usaing cpap in June 2006 and then in July 2008 I started a continuous series of uti's which are ongoing. I haven't approached my Sleep Doctor but my General Practitioner is just about beaten, however, he knows nothing about sleep disorders. This is a serious question for a serious problem but even I can't rationalize a connection between my breathing and my waterworks. But as we Brits say 'nothing ventured - nothing gained' so I am throwing this out to the forum in the feint hope that someone knows something more than the doctors. By the way, I am in my 70's and never had a uti before. English Eric
