I have never heard of CPAP causing the pain you describe. Fluid around the lungs is called pleural effusion and causes pain with breathing. Fluid in the lungs would be pulmonary edema. Both can be seen with a chest x-ray so I agree with D.H., you should have a chest x-ray and once you describe the location of the pain to your doc you may need an abdominal x-ray.

I wouldn't wait for long, it could be something that needs attention now.
