Hi mattyt
I was checking out the sleepnet forum today and came upon your post from last year. I can TOTALLY relate to what you have been experiencing, and have had almost the same process of diagnosis and treatment. CPAP, VPAP and modafinil (Modavigil) have all have very little symptomatic effect, and my AHI is still 10/hour. Like yourself I was diagnosed with severe OSA, but still feel like a zombie...I recently posted my experiences on the forum, "Considering Tracheostomy", and am seriously considering surgical options. Please let me know what you decide and how you are going, as I would love to know. I hope you can find some relief and improvement. I really believe that it's important to share our experiences so that we as survivors of OSA can learn more about our condition, and help health professionals learn about best treatment options. best of luck in your journey
