Air in mouth

I have a history of bloating when using my full face CPAP mask so I tried a nasal mask (on a Remstar BiPap M series machine). This worked well for the first few nights but now, just as I am about to cross over into sleep, my mouth fills with air. I noisly let the air out then start drifting off agin only to repeat the process as sleep is starting. I have a single strap chin strap which I have changed to all different tensions and positions without any success. Any ideas?
