It's great that you adjusted to CPAP so quickly.

If you are having trouble exhaling, there are solutions. Many CPAP machines can be set to reduce the pressure during exhalation (e.g., Respironics has a c-flex option).

I'm not a medical doctor, but I don't think CO2 would cause greenish skin, and I think you would be noticing other (and worse) symptoms instead.

I don't want to minimize your symptoms, but it is possible that there is a simpler explanation, such as a recent switch to fluorescent lighting?

Certainly, if you are concerned, it would make sense to see a doctor.
